Quadra is a rural island community of 3500 residents. It has 2 main shopping areas, children's summer camp, community cultural centre, First Nations museum, churches and an incredibly beautiful ocean-on-three-sides provincial park.
Campbell River, the nearest town (long-touted as the Salmon Fishing Capital of the World!), is located on Vancouver Island - a 10 minute ferry-ride from Quadra Island.
